John E. Kramer, Jr. served as Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Secretary, US Department of Transportation (US DOT) (Dec. 2017- January 20, 2021).  He was responsible for the DOT Budget with over $130 billion in appropriations for FY20.  Mr. Kramer oversaw the related CFO functions of the Federal Aviation, Federal Highway, Federal Transit, Federal Motor Carriers, National Highway Safety, Pipelines and Hazardous Materials, Federal Railroads, St. Lawrence Seaway and Maritime Administrations.

Prior to his government service, he founded and/or grew several Tech/Software companies including E-Commerce Solutions (internet retail), Nuvola Systems (embedded technology) and Siva Corporation (Point of Sale). He has worked with Private Equity/VC groups to successfully grow, reposition and sell investments in several industries including SIVA, Diam International, and Aerosim.

Mr. Kramer has a B. A. from Colgate University and graduate degrees from NYU Stern School of Business, and Harvard Business School.
